Dearly Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
Twenty years ago, our people confirmed their choice - to live in our own independent state. Opened up for us then were great opportunities and at the same time there was great hope that finally, after centuries of oppression and division, our nation would flourish spiritually and economically.
The two decades since have witnessed valuable achievements as well as bitter disappointment, but do not despair!
Everyone understood that Ukrainian society could not remain as it was. Moreover, the new generation has grown up Ukrainian, not burdened with the defects of the Soviet past. They want a better life and they are in their first steps as adults working in a community with real and solid foundations.
