Well, the fun has begun. Now that word has gotten out, I'm finding myself having to defend my decision to a slew of people. It turns out there's quite a few closet Catholic apologists out there.
The toughest thing for me to deal with is the assumption by some who hardly know me that I haven't prayed or thought this HUGE decission through. Part of me wants to just tell them off, but so far I haven't.
Prayers are welcomed.
Catholic Answers got wind of my conversion many years ago, so I got calls from two of their evangelists. I found out later that it was the Opus Dei folks who called CA. Gotta love them.
My son led us to Orthodoxy.

The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai
