Belt of the Theotokos when it was on display at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow. Now, Archimandrite Yephrem, Rector of Vatopedi Monastery where the Belt is normally kept, says that for those who venerated the belt, there has been an outbreak of miraculous events.

An employee of the Christ the Savior Cathedral said the belt cured one worshipper whose cancer was so advanced that “doctors even refused to operate,” Interfax reported. After an examination by doctors the next day, the sick man “called me and said that no cancer was detected,” the cathedral employee said.
