Thanks, Red, for being my 'prayer-wrangler.'  I needed all of them, so thanks be to God for all of you!

I am home now and trying to recouperate, so my internet time will be limited.  This is my second major surgery in two years, so I'm hoping to take 2012 off.  Wink

Much to my chagrine, it took three nurses five attempts to set an IV, then another three attempts to draw blood once I flunked my CAT scan.  So, I feel AND look like a hairy voodoo doll.  I am grateful to God for an outstanding hospital and laproscopy, so I hope to be back to serving after missing only one weekend.

God's timing is perfect: had the appendix inflamed any later, my mission trip to St. Herman's Seminary would have been cancelled... or I would have been riding a medivac from Kodiak to Anchorage.  The doctor said I will be ship-shape by the time of my trip.  Yippee!

I am very humbled by the thought that all of you would spend the time to pray for me.  For that, I am profoundly grateful (and for the fact that my 5-year-old didn't give me hit usual head-butt-to-abdomen greeting which he usually doles out with profound enthusiasm!).

I've got a call in but no word back yet.
