Most Holy Theotokos, save us!

« on: November 17, 2011, 03:09:56 PM »

We just moved into our subdivision a few weeks ago, and since day one our neighbor in the next townhome seems intent on making our lives difficult..she complains of noise coming from our home - things like flushing toilets, our 8-month old baby crying at night, closing the shower door.  I tried to explain to her these are normal household noises, and they are unavoidable, but she's been getting increasingly rude and aggressive with her complaints. Our landlord has asked her to back off, and our other neighbors are supportive of our situation, but she is persisting in her behavior.  My next step is to call the police.  I really want this situation to be resolved for the sanity of my family, and I humbly ask for your prayers.

Lord have mercy!

My cousin faced a similar situation with a neighbor below her. The woman was constantly accusing her of making too much noise. One time she even called the police saying my cousin's treadmill was keeping her awake at night. Can you imagine her embarrassment when the police arrived, searched my cousin's apartment, and saw that my cousin didn't even own a treadmill?!  laugh

Gee, you have enough to focus on with a new baby, I'm sorry you have to deal with this neighbor. Sad

Think twice before calling the police.  That may make your neighbor angrier.  Perhaps you can have your priest visit her with you and work some things out.

Lord, have mercy!  As another poster said, I agree that you have enough to worry about already.  Praying for a peaceful resolution!

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy.

Maybe you can softly play some byzantine chant.
