Please pray for my mom (age 90) who broke her shoulder when tripping over her walker.
She was in the ER on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, but they taped her up and released her.
She meets with her orthopedic surgeon tomorrow.
Her shoulder has been fractured into countless pieces.
Surgery will be scheduled later this week.
She is a former Roman Catholic who is now a Protestant, but who is open to Orthodoxy.
Please pray for her complete healing. Her Christian name is Martha.

Thanks for your prayers. My mom really appreciates them.
UPDATE: My mom saw her orthopedic surgeon who retaped her shoulder and told her not to move it for three months.
After that time, if the fractures have not healed, then they will pin them.
Please pray that she heals. She will need assistance as she can neither dress nor bath herself.

My mother broke her arm 18 years ago; she went through 3 surgeries; she has minimal use of her left arm, but she is quite well otherwise. She's just a couple of years younger than your mother. May God continue to bless our beloved mothers!
