People who join a thread only to say, "This thread sucks." Thanks, buddy. You just made the thread suck even more. >:(
That depends on how lousy the thread was to start with.
God bless!

When you look forward to fellowshipping during coffee hour after Liturgy but your friends always have to go to some parish council meeting. Can we please leave Sunday for worship and fellowship and schedule business meetings for another time?
Would you rather schedule the parish council meeting for times when you know nobody can attend?

Or maybe limit them to one Sunday a month. It just seems like between Sunday School, Greek school, and parish council meetings, all my friends are gone during coffee hour. Maybe that means God wants me to meet some new people and make some new friends. But seeing as how Sunday morning is the only time I get to see my friends from Church, I do get a bit frustrated. Oh well. Parish life does not revolve around little ole me.

You have parish council meetings every Sunday? That's pretty intense.  :o

It probably just seems that way. I don't think it's every Sunday.

When I get a new tattoo, and it seems safe to go back to my ordinary day to day, and I go to sleep, and I wake up with tattoo ink transferred to the bed sheet. At least the transfer looked like a quality job; very little blur at all, apparently I hardly moved at all. :P

When the phrase "IMHO" (In my humble opinion) is followed by a condescending judgment of someone or something. It makes the opinion sound anything but humble.

What do you mean? Is it purposely meant to be sarcastic? If so, then why in the world would I want to humble-brag by implying "This is my opinion, which I say is humble, but I'm really being prideful; take it or leave it"? I think it's more honest to just say "IMO"

The H in IMHO can also mean Honest, which is how I always define it. It is more consistent with how it is used.
If you cannot remember everything, instead of everything, I beg you, remember this without fail, that not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth but theirs.  If we have this attitude, we will certainly offer our money; and by nourishing Christ in poverty here and laying up great profit hereafter, we will be able to attain the good things which are to come. - St. John Chrysostom

The newest fad in internet webpagery: when you go to hit 'back' or 'exit' on your browser, the site detects what you're doing and gives you a pop up of some advertisement or other.

The Nigerian princes must have finally got their money issues in order, and the male enhancement people must have run out of stock, because they rarely contact me any more. Now it seems to be daily FedEx package notifications that I'd swear I have nothing to do with, but they seem quite insistent.

Patriarch Kyrill - I'm sorry (not really), just don't like him
People who chew loudly, talk loudly, burp, or snore
When girls feel the need to comment one each other pictures about how great they look. I'll be honest, most of the time, they don't look that good.
Atheists who say "I hate religious people" and feel the need to constantly remind me that they're an atheist
When my classmates say they studied for x amount of hours for a test- I don't care and I didn't ask
When my teacher says that she always helps us with learning things when she either puts on a movie or makes us read our books
People who only go to church because it's Ukrainian or whatever ethnicity and that's what background they come from
People who say "We need female priests. It'll solve the vocation crisis" No, it won't. Take that crap to the Protestants.

Things that should be banned:

1) Fraternities/Sororities...

A few Penn State frat members wanted to call 911 before pledge died

Agree 100%. I've always argued that no Christian should ever join any type of exclusive club that requires oaths of loyalty and such. Why should we ever seek fraternity, fellowship, security, or affirmation in any exclusive institution apart from the Church? To do so always involves an inherent conflict of interest.

Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Speaking of Youtube pet peeves: when people bring up the term "ludonarrative dissonance," and then spend more time distancing themselves from it than they do actually explaining it, yet still go on to use the concept for a not insubstantial portion of their video. It's a graceless term and was overused and was sometimes introduced in an attempt to make the vid creator seem smart, we get it. The cliche now is bringing your vid to a grinding halt to explain that you're way too cool to ever use the term, but you're going to begrudgingly use it anyway because it's convenient, but you aren't at all like those other people who say exactly the same thing you're saying about it.

Along the same lines, watching a clip of some awesome Italian horror/ spaghetti western/ kung fu movie and everyone's going, "Kill Bill!" or some garbage like that.

You log onto YouTube to hear some jam you grew up with and 90% of the comments say "Saints Row 4!" or something similar because as far the millennial twonks reading are concerned, that is the source of the music.  ::)

Along the same lines, watching a clip of some awesome Italian horror/ spaghetti western/ kung fu movie and everyone's going, "Kill Bill!" or some garbage like that.

I can add that to a peeve. Three-quarters of Tarintino's work is scraped content that he's done a Find+Replace on names (and not always that) and added a bunch of curse words and called it an homage.
Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Take a breath, read Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Oh, and late 20th century "nostalgia" as an industry.

I loathe his stuff.  I'd rather watch films of knee surgery.

He sucks and I hate that I can't watch the original Django without thinking about his misappropriation.

I've honestly never liked any of his films.  I love the material he draws from, but I hate his interpretation of it.

The only film of his I enjoyed was Death Proof, but it was derivative and needlessly violent.

Right, it's a soulless exercise in irony and "look at all the cool stuff I like".
