'60 Minutes' commentator Andy Rooney has died
« on: November 05, 2011, 09:07:15 AM »
Andy Rooney, for many years a commentator whose humorous observations ended each episode of the news show '60 Minutes,' has died. He was 92.

From the article:
Quote
Rooney had gone to the hospital for an undisclosed surgery, but major complications developed and he never recovered.

"Andy always said he wanted to work until the day he died, and he managed to do it, save the last few weeks in the hospital," said his "60 Minutes" colleague, correspondent Steve Kroft.

Rest in peace.
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end.

Only ever really watched him once, when he was on Ali G.  Adios.

To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.
