I was just informed today that my Aunt Barbara passed away yesterday. Barbara was married to my uncle, Joseph, and was a wonderful woman who will be sorely missed.
She was the adopted daughter of a soft drink maker, and although the heiress to millions, dressed simply, lived in the simple home she grew up in, and spent her time and money giving to the poor. Her and my uncle would spend their Sundays after church feeding the homeless and teaching others about the love of Christ.
Despite having many health problems throughout her life, she would always thank God for all she had and say that she was blessed.
Having no children of their own, they spent the majority of their marriage taking care of others. She took care of her father and both of my uncle's parents as each aged and got ill. So it was very sad that when they finally had their home to themselves, that she took ill.
For the past 3 years she had been in a vegetative state and finally passed yesterday. My uncle never left her bedside.
Please pray for the repose of her soul, and also for my uncle, that he may be comforted.
Thank you

May her memory be eternal!
She sounds like a wonderful woman.
May the Lord have mercy on Joseph.

She's touring the facility/and picking up slack. -- "For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow." Ecclesiastes 1:18 -- I once believed in causes too, I had my pointless point of view -- Life went on no matter who was wrong or right
