Auctioneers Lyon and Turnbull will offer to bidders, in an event at a salesroom in Edinburgh, Scotland, the very bloomers once owned by Queen Victoria. Also for sale will be paintings and furniture.

From the article:
Quote
Black-and-white, hand-stitched silk stockings she wore when she went into mourning over the death of Prince Albert are expected to fetch between £500 and £800.

Three pairs of silk stockings, a lace night-gown and a pair of her gloves will also be sold.

It is an education process for me as I learn about the psychology of spiritual apostasy. And others get the benefit of perhaps hearing righteousness for the first time.

I look forward to the used Queen Victoria's underwear vending machine -- on a shady corner of Tokyo this spring.

I always wondered about that and what it says about a culture.  It is either an entire island of incontinent women or perverted men.  Neither option is particularly desirable.

I have some thoughts about repressed Japanese sexuality that are perhaps not suitable for discussion on a Christian forum.
