Hatfield Township, PA: new Coptic church to be built
« on: October 27, 2011, 12:45:31 PM »
The new building-to-be of St. Kyrillos Orthodox Church has been given approval for construction, in Hatfield Township, Pennsylvania. The parish has rented a nearby Baptist church during the wait.

From the article:
Quote
Copts in parts of Egypt have faced highly-publicized, violent persecution from groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood. The church’s supporters say it will provide a safe place for Egyptian immigrants who have come to parts of Eastern Montgomery County, including Hatfield and Lansdale, in growing numbers.

The roughly $3 million project is expected to get under way early in 2012 as fundraising efforts continue.

My only weakness is, well, never mind

And you'll sleep, but they'll find you

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river
