The Orthodox Christian faith is home to some 300 million believers. It has adherents in countries around the world. A new feature story on Yahoo News delves into the richness of the Orthodox community.

From the article:
Quote
This is just a brief overview of the dynamic beliefs of a people that have closely followed their orthodox traditions for well over a thousand years. A large part of the globe is dominated by this faith, and even in places like the United States, there is a strong presence of the Eastern Orthodox Church in public life. Though these beliefs may date far back in time, they obviously translate well to serve the spiritual needs of millions throughout the world today.
