My husband's sister's husband is currently in the hospital in ICU.  He suffers from an auto-immune disorder that is categorized in the rheumatoid arthritis category - but is not what most people think of rheumatoid arthritis.

Last night he was admitted into the hospital through the emergency room.  He has a perforated large intestine.  They did emergency surgery and have left him 'open' until they can get him stable.  I have no further news than this.

I don't know his faith - my husband said that they are like him and neither go to church.

Please pray, his name is Tim.

My husband and I are headed home.  Tim made it through the day.  He is on dialisis, and is not getting any worse.  They were going to go in for more surgry, but decided against it. He is still very critica, but Thanks be to God, he's still alive.

Update:  My sister in law called this morning, she said that Tim's blood panel is improving - they have backed off on some of the medications.  Thank you for praying - please continue, he's still in very critical condition.

Tim passed away this morning after another surgery.  He was removed from life support and passed away shortly thereafter.

Lord have mercy on his wife, Kat.  May his memory be eternal.  Christ Jesus, please have mercy on his soul.  Thank you for the gift of his life to Kat, my husband and myself and all those who love him.

Amen
