At St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora, Illinois, parishioners have collected hundreds of pounds of food for the hungry. The food has been donated to the Humanitarian Service Project (HSP), which distributes the food to local seniors.

From the article:
Quote
Karole Kettering, Co-founder and Executive Director of HSP, said that St. Athanasios in Aurora has long been an important partner in helping HSP reach out to those impacted by hunger in DuPage and Kane Counties. She said, “When people in our own neighborhoods do not have enough food to get by, St. Athanasios Church has proven again and again to be a wonderful partner for HSP’s programs to serve needy seniors, families, and children.”
