I have a cat named Smokey...he's a russian blue and has only 3 legs. We rescued him 4 years ago when his owners abandoned him. And he's been very sick lately. He will be going to the vet soon...he is losing weight, he doesn't meow as much, his eyes are glassy...all he wants to do is sleep. He looks so miserable He is old (14) and I am afraid it's something serious. He's acting in a similar fashion Misty did before she died (Misty was a cat we owned for a long time, back when I was 12). Could you just pray for him? Please? I know it's an animal, but I love him very much. He's sitting with me now, wanting me to scratch his head lol. I just hope he's okay. Blessings, Selah

Prayers for you and Smokey. I pray it is nothing serious and he will be restored to full health. I know with beagles, they own you. I hope that at the end of times when God creates a new heaven and a new earth, our pets will be included.

I am taking him saturday, that's the soonest they can take him. Good. Glad to hear it. Hope Smokey has more lives yet in him - fourteen is a good age, but many cats these days can live quite a bit longer, some to twenty or more. My two are fifteen, and still healthy and frisky.

He's doing so much better. The vet told us he was anemic, and gave him some medicine and special food. I've been feeding him through a syringe (which he hates) but he is starting to eat on his own now. He seems like he is getting back to his normal (i.e. bratty) self. Thanks so much for all your prayers, Smokey and I both thank you
