Glad I got out when I did.
I read in the article that the 'work' of this commission was funding by large grants from two foundations. I have to say that I can not imagine either the Roman Church or the Orthodox needing big bucks from endowments to engage in liturgical translations etc... That one line says a whole lot to me about the state of affairs in ECUSA. I guess that is one of the legacies of Henry VIII's destruction of monasteries in England.
