I could, once more, use some prayers
« on: October 14, 2011, 04:16:42 AM »
I know I've asked, several times, for prayers from those on this forum.  Those who have read my prayer request threads in the past know that I've recently had unfortunate events strike my family.  I am, again, starting to become a bit emotionally and mentally off-balance - in part, at least, as a result of my cousin's suicide.

Anyways, to cut to the chase, I would greatly appreciate two prayers: First and foremost for the repose of the soul of my cousin, Preston,  Secondly that the Lord would have mercy upon me, in whatever way he sees fit.

Lord God, grant him rest, with every other spirit made perfect in faith, in a place without sorrow or sighing -- Lord, have mercy.

[...]Secondly that the Lord would have mercy upon me, in whatever way he sees fit.

Lord God, help him, save him, have mercy on him and keep him by your grace -- Lord, have mercy.

May the Lord have mercy on the soul of your cousin, forgive him his trespasses and grant him eternal peace.

May the Lord guide you, strengthen you and grant you solace so that you may heal and resume a level of balance in your life.

Memory Eternal!

Lord, have mercy!

And we believe that even beyond the grave Thy loving kindness, which is merciful even
to all rejected sinners, does not fail. We grieve for hardened and wicked blasphemers of
Thy Holiness. May Thy saving and gracious will be over them. Forgive, O Lord, those
who have died without repentance.

Save those who have committed suicide in the darkness of their mind,
that the flame of their sinfulness may be extinguished in the ocean of Thy grace.

O Lord of unutterable Love, remember Thy servants who have fallen asleep.
