« on: October 08, 2011, 06:01:53 PM »
The new toy allows you to search words in 5 million books since 1500, analyzing trends in the use of such word. Used properly, it may be evidence of cultural relevance of the word.

A very interesting one: sex and pleasure

People wrote more about pleasure when they wrote less about sex. At about the 60s and 70s, the more people talked about sex the less they cared about pleasure.

Many energies, three persons, two natures, one God, one Church, one Baptism.

c. 1665 has a huge spike in pleasure, but with no sex. What's up with that?
