I've never liked the Raiders, but Al Davis was much a part of football in this country as Vince Lomabardi, Tom Landry, Bill Belichick, Mike Ditka, Jerry Jones, Lamar Hunt, etc.

There were times I did not understand Al Davis, but I have been following the Raiders as my AFC West Team for a while...
