This year, my wife and I, working at two different universities, for the first time in years have our fall break falling on the same days. We are flying tomorrow to Berkeley, California, to see our daughter Maryana and her husband Ryan. The last time we saw them was almost 1.5 years ago. Thank you in advance for mentioning us all in your holy prayers. We should be back next week's Wedbesday.

Lord have mercy and safe travels for the two of you!

Heavenly Father, your word says that our steps are guided by you, Psalm 119:133 and that you are with us wherever we go, Joshua 1:9. Thank you for the time that Heorij and his wife have together to go and see their daughter and family; thank you that your angels watch over them on their journey Luke 4:10, and that you also provide divine appointments when we travel as many places in your word tell us of people being in the right place at the right time to do your work Lord God. I pray that this is the case with Heorij and his family even while they are having a fun time together that they will be aware of you working for their good, Romans 8:28 and the good of others around them, for one purpose only -- to glorify your name in all the earth.

In the name of your son, Jesus, The Christ. Amen.

Lord, have mercy!

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.” +Luke 6:27-29
