Requesting prayers for my Dad who needs 3-vessel heart surgery soon.  He had a minor stroke over the weekend, and in the workup for the carotid surgery for the stroke, they found very bad heart disease.  Also requesting prayers that my stubborn Dad acknowledges the recommendations and agrees to go through with it!

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

Thank you for all your prayers.  No words can express how much they mean.  The carotid surgery was Friday.  Dad is balking at having the heart bypass (understandably he's tentative about it) but still needs it done.

Thank you again for your prayers.  Dad is now recovering at home from heart surgery.  Seeing the health problems of so many others, it makes me realize how lucky we are.

Good news these days is very hard to come by, we should appreciate it more when it happens.

I'm glad that he is doing well.
