The problem with the majority of CCM is all of it is so saccharine, pompous and sanctimonous.

I loved Supernatural too!
fantastic record. man, the thought of that record makes me feel old. and it was even one of their newer ones! Wasn't it shortly before they broke up? Yeah, '98. I listened to that CD so many times when I got it. Saw them in person one of those years shortly before they did separate acts. Aren't all of their newer ones their separate acts, Tait, Toby Mac, and Kevin Max? Yes, but I think Toby's is the only successful one. Kevin was doing pretty well, as he deserves because is voice is so phenomenal, but as i mentioned earlier hes gotten really weird... Not sure whats up. He was like a poetic hippy nut on his first separate CD. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but you could tell he was more into the poetic than the rock music. I haven't even heard Tait in years.

They have a new sound but it's terrible. Michael learned nothing from the failure of his band Tait. ;P What do you think their biggest mistake is that Michael should have learned? That his version of "Jesus rock" simply doesn't sell. The Newsboys now sound just like Tait did back then, and we know that the band Tait is well and done. (To be fair, I liked the first album that his band put out, most of his issue is really just the CCM over-Christianization of everything. Case & point: see "Born Again" by the Newboys. ICK.)

Over-Christianization, that is a good term. I think I bought into that believing that over-Christianization was a good thing for too long. It's one of my beefs with some newer mainstream Protestant groups.

I may have that. I know I have Love Liberty Disco, and I think it was Going Public. Elle G. was a great song.
