Help us to run to you for strength and safety when we are in need and know that what we face we do not face alone, your Spirit is with us to comfort and lead us into all truth. Remind us that you are our light and stronghold of life, when we are afraid Psalm 27:1 and that your word is a lamp for our feet and a light for our path Psalm 119:105 when we need to know the way forward.
Thank you that you are close to all who call upon you in truth and that you will grant the desires of the heart of those who fear you Psalm 145:18. Thank you that your word says when we cast our burdens on you, that you will sustain us and not permit us to be moved Psalm 55:22. Father God, in your mercy, hear this prayer and uphold your word, that we will find rest in you for our weary soul Matthew 11.
