His death would be LARPing in action.

Actually it WAS brand's idea, since I kept sounding more and more like death in chat, the thread that is. I just came up with the brilliant, attention-getting-via-death-self-mocking diagnosis and told her it was a good idea.

We both collectively felt bad when Father didn't get the joke of the diagnosis.

Pobrecito. I know how that goes. It's one of those days for me, too (seriously, it is horrible today. I walked 3 miles to get to my doctor's office and now I'm practically bedridden for the next few days), but I accepted an unusually large workload this week so I can relax on my trip this weekend.

Hope it'll get better for the time being, a couple of good days coming your way.

Sorry, kind of wanted to kvetch about my health, too. No one loves me enough to start threads about it. Tongue

It is a complete joke!

I've been complaining and what not about being sick. And as Ionnis believes, I derive meaning from getting attention on the board.

Oh forget it, explaining a joke no longer makes it funny.

Thanks for the sentiments though.

This I gotta figure out how to make into a contest . . .

Thankfully, I know enough people who understand something that might seem to many as morbid and perverse is exactly what I find to be fun to hand out the appropriate prizes.

First thing, I have to do is to start wearing a wire.

I pray for more good days and for you to maintain your great strength for the not so good days.  I have two family members with serious chronic illnesses and know how tough it can be.

St Augustine was a genius. His Confessions is indispensable and City of God is a tour de Force...

Wait we are trying to mock orthonorm here...well I got nothing. My girlfriend wants to have another stimulating conversation with him.

You should probably find another girlfriend.

More or less she wants an apology from him because she was frightened when the chat room was up.

And find another girlfriend? No way

Pure schlock, add it to the thread. Whoever the iconographer that did this, is just plain terrible. Stupid ecumenism using those hack Catholic artists.

Can we make this a meme please? Let's replace Hyperdox Herman with "orthonorm is dead", a nice play on Nietzche.

BTW, forgot to let you know today, this is great stuff.

The De La Soul Album cover is awesome. Great slept on album.

All very well done.

Based on the PMs people really like the Gebre one. It is good. But really the album cover and the "icon" one are both brilliant in very different ways for my money. Seriously.

You have a real gift.

Thanks for giving me a bit of it.

You really should play around more (not the orthonorm thing per se, but that is fine) with this stuff and share it. You seem to enjoy doing it. I like it.

Not sure about others other than the PMs I got letting me know about this.

Lest anyone think I take offense with any of the above, I absolutely do not.

As I told someone in a PM today, I hope to be long dead before my sense of humor is.

What the hell? You are supposed to be dead, I told that stupid hitman...err hello. Smiley

One of these days I will draw, err write, and icon. I was much too tired last night to make it all Byzantine. Maybe it adds to the schlock I dunno.

And speaking of schlock, I'd pay money for one of those "iconographers" to write me a custom one of you. Would provide endless lulz.

I still think my orthonormheadexplode.gif is the greatest gift of all and it keeps on giving.

See I wouldn't mind parodying a few other folks on the boards, but I'm not sure what sense of humor they have.

There is such a wealth of material out there, one of these days I will finish up a large OC.net art project.

EDIT: If I have some effort, I might make a few animated gifs.

Was that something you did orthonorm?

It'sa whole thing.

Some schtick of mine and educating our dear Nick on the memorial fads of US urban centers.

Maybe we'll talk about it some time. One of my brilliant ideas that invariably center around my death. I lose track of them.

Glad some people remember them for me.

Good night.

I tell you, I would love to have that De La Soul riff on a tee. I don't get graphic stuff ever. Always liked that cover. We have to figure this out.

Awesome stuff.

For a second, I was like, oh great there is some uglier version of Eminem getting popular or something . . . I clicked through your PM so I didn't see what thread it was.

When I realized who it was, I was relieved.
