Happy Anniversary to Kazan Cathedral
« on: September 21, 2011, 06:13:02 PM »
Kazan Catehdral, in St. Petersburg, Russia, reached its 200th anniversary, with a Divine Liturgy conducted by Patriarch Kirill.

From the article:
The ceremonies were timed to coincide with the Nativity the Mother of God, a major Orthodox feast celebrated on September 21. The icon of the Mother of God of Kazan is one of the most revered icons in Russia. A copy of this miracle-working icon adorns the Kazan Cathedral.

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river
