Ok... in the 20 or so months since my wife passed away we've tried to make several plans work. The main question was, and remains, what is best for my kids, and how can we provide a stable, long-term living situation for them, where they are loved and treated with respect and so forth. And I'd be lying if I didn't say that another thing in play was worrying about my own happiness and well-being. Unfortunately the plans we've tried have failed, and we are now left only with options that we would have preferred to avoid. All of these plans involve me withdrawing from the school that I'm at, relocating closer to family (about 40-50 miles away), getting a car and a place for us to stay, finding a job in the area, and raising the kids on my own (with support from family when they can give it). I have family who are willing to help me make the move and get reestablished, but obviously this is a lot of stuff to get done and a big curve in the road for me and my kids. So if you would, please keep myself (Justin) and my two daughters (Athanasia and Sahara) in your prayers.

Thanks. You can probably drop me from your prayer list (I don't mean that in a bad way, I just realise that names can start to multiply on such lists, and it's good to know when you can drop one of the 1,439 names). Things aren't exactly resolved or finished, but a big step is being taken today, and I believe everything will work out as well as it can.

Things are on the move, and so will I be I expect. 95% sure anyway. Though I don't have say over everything involved, so I'm depending on other stuff going through. Still, 95%...  I thought I was going to move later this Spring, but recent happenings of a not-so-good nature has moved the timing up significantly. The move will be tough, especially at first, but the big positive is that I should be able to have a car and get to church, so... anyway... Smiley

Thanks for letting us know! And while the move will be tough at first, it also sounds like many possibilities will open up for you that are not present now.

I pray all will go well with your move.

So about 14 hours from now I'll be making the move. I have almost all my stuff packed, except for a change of clothes and stuff to shower tomorrow, and my computer, a book and the TV for tonight. Everything else is sitting in corners in my living room.  And I have to say... queen size beds are fun to sleep in, but they stink to have when you're moving! Grin Anyway, there's a small chance of it being icy, but hopefully everything will go smoothly!

Been a couple weeks since I've been able to post as I am living temporarily... well... I'm crashing on someone's couch, lol. We had everything set up, but there were certain legal stipulations/regulations we did not foresee... anyhow, so things are slightly off plan, but I'm still alive and mostly well! Smiley  I hope to get internet and be able to post more regularly sooner rather than later. My daughters are well as well, living with their grandparents at the moment, not too far from me.
