Pray for me, a sinner
« on: September 19, 2011, 01:18:49 AM »
Please pray for me, a sinner.

I've fallen to pornography and cigarettes today. I went 9 days without them (the longest in a while).

Lord have mercy on me
"Let the mouth also fast from disgraceful speeches and railings. For what does it profit if we abstain from fish and fowl and yet bite and devour our brothers and sisters? The evil speaker eats the flesh of his brother and bites the body of his neighbor. "
— St. John Chrysostom

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

Lord have mercy.

You may have fallen but do not stay fallen! Get back up and continue the struggle. With God all things are possible.

Lord have mercy.
Let your will be done O Lord Jesus Christ through the intercession of you All Pure Mother and all the saints!
