Has anyone here read this book? Everywhere Present: Christianity in a One-Storey Universe

Here's the short synopsis:

I read the first couple of chapters.  Personally, I prefer the blog.  In the book, it seems he is fixated with people seeing visions of Saints and stuff.  That personally was a turnoff because I think the Apostolic message has a slightly different focus.   That was my general impression, so I didn't continue reading the book.  He could have went on a different direction.  Overall, I like the blog better.  That is just me.

I like his blog. I don't like that cover though... it's very... "emergent."

Podcast, as I have mentioned before, surprised me. It is good.

The book: meh.

His podcast content is good, his delivery not so much, but I do think he does in a very down to earth (or one-storyish) and simple and approachable manner attempts to what we nuttier people kvetch about constantly.

Stop folks from worshipping the gods of Plato and Plotinus.

He'll be more successful. Than we neurotics.

He gives very practical, concrete, and challenging examples in the day to day to challenge whether we truly live in "a one story universe".

I am glad for his podcast.
