Jacobite and Orthodox Church dispute in India ends with a fast
« on: September 12, 2011, 06:57:09 PM »
A disagreement between Jacobite and Orthodox individuals, over who had the right to use church facilities in Kottoor, India, resulted in a unique tactic: both groups took up a fast.

From the article:

Problems arose on Saturday, when Jacobites were denied permission to enter the chapel to offer the evening prayers by the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox faction demanded the rival group to abide by the district court order.
