Boardwalk Empire is depressing as all get out. Have to stop being too lazy to change channels when I see it coming on.

I gave up on it. The period stuff was cool for awhile, but there were no characters worth rooting for..

You're gonna be a monk and a detective? Maybe you should be watching more Cadfael.

The season finale of Survivor was last night. Cochran won, a little nerdy guy who just graduated from Harvard Law. He was a student of the show and wrote a thesis comparing the Survivor jury system with the legal jury system.

He beat several really buff guys. He's very funny in a Woody Allen sort of way.

Good

Getting ready to watch the series finale of The Office - which I've watched through all its ups & downs since Episode 1. (and yes, I watched the British version too and think they both have their merits & flaws)

Really?  I watched all of one episode and remember him well.

The one I saw still left him and 2 other guys, and 2 gals.  From that episode I would have guessed one of the women would have won.  They seemed to be able to "hang" on longer in the challenges.

Well, good for him.

best part about coming home at my time:

seinfeld on tbs

"To a woman, sex is like the garbage man. You just take for granted the fact that any time you put some trash out on the street, a guy in a jumpsuit's gonna come along and pick it up. But now, it's like a garbage strike. The bags are piling up in your head. The sidewalk is blocked. Nothing's getting through. You're stupid."

seinfeld analogies are the best

Yes. He's had a good run. I wouldn't mind if John Hurt came on full-time as the 12th Doctor, but that's rather unlikely.

William I am seeing your neck of the woods. Go see Bob Rodgers and he will show you how to fast for a miracle. He also sells prayers for specific diseases.

Well, he doesn't "sell" them, but he sells them.

But God has given him specific words to be used to cure folks. Asking in general for healing is not enough.

EDIT: He has prayers for wealth as well.
