They had the actor who plays the Governor on "Talking Dead" ( the after show). He's British..thick accent !

AND... It turns out Andrew Lincoln ( Rick) is also British.

I missed a third week in a row.  Is there somewhere I can catch up at?

1) Comcast On Demand has the last several episodes
2) They're doing a marathon all this week on AMC of the entire series, with the latest episodes airing next Sunday
3) (Illegally?) download the shows you want

There is a marathon all week leading up to the season finale on Sunday. So I guess you can see the last few episodes at the end of the week.

I like watching Jeopardy. Swept the Ohio History category tonight.

Do people not from around here really not know the cash register was invented in Dayton? That's one of our few prides, and it's disappointing to see it neglected by the rest of the country.

I like watching Jeopardy. Swept the Ohio History category tonight.

Worst. Class. Ever. At my bumpkin school, I remember hand drawing a map of Ohio, including the 88 counties and marking their county seats.

This is probably what traumatized me into being the anti-Isa.

How many of you saw the recent Hoarders episode with the lady with hundreds of poop bottles? Yeah...

She couldn't lift the 20 gallon bucket that she pooped and peed in when it was finally full, so she would scoop some of the waste into a smaller container and dump it by a tree on her front lawn. I kid you not.

Hey now, let's not hate. I am not sure if I would call anything that held 20 gallon a bucket. And it would weigh, if full of just urine, around 160 pounds or so. Depending on the density of her stools that could change the picture a little.

I have been watching the new series "Vikings".

Normally this would be right up my ally. It's just barely good enough for me to tvo and watched when nothing better is on.

The producers say that they have tried to be as authentic as possible and some of the look they give to a few men are very scary and cool, especially the wild hair cuts. However it really smacks of a video game rather than something completely true to history. The main character's wife goes on raids with them and is a kind of warrior princess type.. I think not

Some of the battle scenes are good enough for the price of admission. It of course makes the Christian victims look like sissies. The Priests are fat and or effeminate. The True Men are the demonic killers...Yada yada.

It's...ummm....fine

That sounds agonizing. My clearest memory of taking that class is when we all had to do a report and a diorama on an Indian tribe that used to live here, and I got stuck with the Erie, who were wiped out in the 17th century. And the girl who got the Shawnee did very minimal research and based her diorama on Hollywood cliche, despite a great deal of information being available. I'm not sure I'll ever forgive you, Shasta Ritter.

And there was a time when we had to dress as something Ohio related for Halloween. I dressed up as Darrell Pace, Olympic archer, because I already had a toy bow and arrow and the two Olympic gold medals were pretty easy to make. Much less effort for my mom than the ones who made all those trilobite costumes (the trilobite being the state fossil of Ohio, of course).

Supernatural is pretty good. The first and second season were best though. The whole demon-angel thing became too repetitive. I liked the classic hunts better where it was a new supernatural creature from some old mythology/legend for every episode.

The Walking Dead season finale...

The Good
- When I saw the title for the episode I feared that it was going to be a 40 minute long skirmish in the pitch black "tombs". Thankfully the scenes there were very limited.
- Andrea is dead. I didn't hate her character. Not as much as I hate Carl anyway. But it was time for her to go.
- For the first time, in any season, Carl did something I liked. That kid fleeing the prison had it coming. Though Carl shouldn't have tried to weasel out when explaining what happened.
- The Gov survived. Good. Hopefully that'll set up a nice death for him in the mid-season finale this fall.
- Rick seems to no longer be crazy. Or at least he no longer sees his dead pregnant wife, which is a step in the right direction.
- Michone.
- The Woodbury storyline was resolved. For the most part. I've seen a lot of complaints about how it was resolved, but frankly I liked how it went down. I thought the Woodbury army standing around waiting to be slaughtered by one man was silly, but other than that I liked it.

The Bad
- Norman Reedus said on Talking Dead that Daryl was going to become cold and distant again. That sucks. I guess Tyreese can step up as Rick's go-to guy.
- Sad to see Milton go. I would have loved to have seen what he could have done in better circumstances.
- So if Tyreese and the woman hadn't decided to stay in Woodbury... no one would have been guarding the gates?
- This has been discussed a lot already around the web, but the Andrea scenes were strange for there unrealism.

The Ugly
- Carl delivering the "just go" line to rick. Ugh.
- As though they didn't have enough people to protect and care for and feed, now they brought in 2 dozen elderly folk. Hopefully that doctor from Woodbury made it at least.

Except when they replaced the American narrator for a couple seasons with that other guy. Still a great show overall though. One of my go-to shows on Netflix for falling asleep to  8)

The Gov went crazier than usual, Rick isn't crazy anymore, and Carl might be starting to go crazy...

All in all a good episode.

Agreed !

Glad Andra is dead too.

I bet the Governor pops up again but not for awhile.. End of next season or the year after that would be cool.

Oct. is too long to wait.. I'm a little depressed about it.
Your idea has been debunked 1000 times already.. Maybe 1001 will be the charm

And tomorrow, new Game of Thrones. It's been a looooong wait.

Finally, after all those months.

The first episode was a little boring, but I hope it's just an introduction to season 3. The part where that Targaryen lady was inspecting the soldiers was funny, though.

I expect a lot of cutting and sewing. There's absolutely no way A Storm of Swords can fit into ten episodes. I just hope the reconstruction makes sense and they don't do away with too much.
