Our local WB used to run reruns of it on weekdays, and I used to sit down with my mom and siblings and watch them on a pretty much daily basis when I was a kid. I'm 17 if that clarifies anything.

I recently started going back through the original Trek series (which I got from the local library for free). For some reason I had remembered it being a lot more goodie two shoes (ala TNG) than this. Consequently, my respect for the original series is increasing by the minute. Just started the 5th episode and watched an attempted rape. Didn't know they'd show that kinda stuff on network tv back then.

I've been thinking about doing, ever since I finished Enterprise several weeks ago.

Watching the Sopranos on DVD. I've had horrible nightmares for the last three nights, yet I keep watching! Such a brilliant show, but good gracious it's disturbing. I think I need to go back to watching Curb Your Enthusiasm for a while. Or better yet, listen to AFR before going to sleep. What's wrong with me?

The first season of the Sopranos is fine, fine story telling. It degenerated quickly into a family soap afterward. The first season is practically a collection of short films. Excellent. Curb rules. Glad you like it. My favorite season as a season is the one with The Producers arc. A show that really understands itself very well.

It had the first inter-racial kiss ever on TV. Way ahead of thier time. Also the Brady Bunch, the paragon of innocence, was fairly daring; featured a couple who had both previously been married to other people, and they slept in the same bed. Heady stuff for 1969.

Just watched the 7th season of Weeds. I felt that the show rapidly degenerated after the first season but I kept watching anyway. Seasons 6 and 7 were in many ways a reboot for the series and I think it's finally back on track.

I thought Weeds could have been good, then they made more than six or so episodes. Very unfortunate the path it took. Soft core porn was never so boring. Excellent opening theme and I will forever remember the scene tracked with The Prettiest Birds. Very touching scene. Pardon the terrible play on words. I might have stuck out the first season, but could never go back.

Fist of the North Star
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I don't know what it means to be a "Brony," but I do like the show. It reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls (other than for the obvious reasons) and Timon and Pumbaa.
Going to check out Fruits Basket for the first time later.
Tried to get into Gurren Lagann, but it kind of exceeds my fanservice tolerance lol.

Have been rewatching various shows on netflix... X-Files, DS9, How It's Made, etc. Also have been watching some documentary type stuff like TED talks and other such things. One that I've enjoyed is Out of Egypt, which seems to be a good deal better than most of the stuff made by Discovery. And Kara Cooney is pretty easy on the eyes. Though she's also just generally interesting.

Kind of lost interest in Friday Night Lights, first season was so good though that never got matched in seasons 2 or 3. Excellent TV, that first season. It was like watching the first season of Lost which was some of the best television I had ever seen.

I finished the Riches, then watched the first episode of Fraiser before deciding never to watch another episode, ever. Now I'm half-way through Downton Abbey's first season, which has become - quite possibly - my favorite television program ever.

Big Brother starts tomorrow... I measure time from year to year by when it's on. A years is a long time.
Youtuble very early episodes. Julie Chen looks really different. And Dr. Drew from Celebrity Rehab used to come on and give his opinion on how the house guests were doing psychologically. LOL

I finished the Riches, then watched the first episode of Fraiser before deciding never to watch another episode, ever. Now I'm half-way through Downton Abbey's first season, which has become - quite possibly - my favorite television program ever.
You should give Fraiser another chance. It has a way of growing on you. Like a lot of sitcoms, it had a bit of a rough start IIRC.

Kung Fu: The Complete Collection
I got this for $48 on Amazon! One of my favorite TV shows ever. Full of philosophical gems.

Northern Exposure. My favorite series of all time. Perfect cast, atmosphere, soundtrack, scripts, and all of the characters are so wonderfully crafted. It might've stayed around a season too long, but it's a masterpiece all the same.
