I really enjoyed it. I hear that one of the writers are saying that Dr. Jenner did not tell Rick that Lori was pregnant.

I am always late to the game with TV (because I have lived without a TV for several years Smiley ), but thank God for finally getting Netflix.

A month or so ago I started watching Arrested Development because a friend had recommended it to me. I thought it was going to be like Parks and Rec or The Office (which I just could not get into), and the first episode didn't sell me. However, I tried watching another episode here and there, and I became hooked. Some of the episodes are just okay, but other ones leave me in tears and hiccups, and that is awesome.

I'm somewhere around Season 2 right now. I always DIE when Lucille reacts to seeing Gene Parmesan, the undercover investigator. Most of the cast is just amazing. Will Arnett...they're all great.

My husband, who initially rolled his eyes when I watched it, has started to join me on the couch. Last night, he graced me with the one sentence that I know is our concession that we like the other person's CD/TV show but we don't want to admit it. "Oh hun, you can watch another episode." (I should know because I say the same exact things for some of his SciFi shows.  Grin)

I am also finally trying to watch all of the TV shows my mother banned me from watching when I was a teenager. I'm just starting Felicity. What an insane premise. I'll see after 10 episodes how I'm feeling about it. (Shows down the drain already, Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill).

Oh, sorry, I didn't make it clear. I used to watch what I could on my computer (didn't have a great internet connection a few years ago). We now have an old TV, but it's not hooked up to anything. I have a Wii, so we just access Netflix through it.

But I used to live with some DVDs and those portable DVD players!

We should probably get the antenna for basic channels, but we read the news, so eh. Smiley

Boardwalk Empire, although I'm taking a break because I get very very easily sucked into almost *any* TV drama and suspense.  Maybe because I wasn't allowed to watch any as a kid Tongue

Even reality tv. Even when I can feel my brain rotting. This is why I don't own a real tv and only watch tv on the internet...

This season's Dexter was pretty much a disappointment.

I'm about 1/2 way through the Brigada miniseries & like it so far.

I saw an episode of this AMC show 'Leverage' when I was my uncle's a few weeks ago. It seemed cool. There was also a show set in the Old West when they were building the railroad.

About the only current show I really care for anymore is NCIS. Other than that I watch an occasional classic movie (30's & 40's) on TCM and an occasional programme on PBS. I used to watch History Channel until they decided to go Reality, conspiracy, alien garbage, trucker shows, and "faux redneck" variants of Antiques Roadshow. H2 has a bit more history, but not much. Sadly, it's all about quantity (viewers and commercial sponsors = $$$) or quality. It is true they are bringing in more viewers and sponsors with the format change, but they were doing very well when they just did solid history. This info came from a former History Channel employee. NatGeo and Discovery has basically gone the same way. Seems like there isn't much of a place for true educational programming at present.  Embarrassed

I did watch Military Channel for awhile, but I feel I've been through WWII more times than than my grandfathers who fought in it. Not to mention... who in their right mind wants to spend hours on end with Hitler??? Smithsonian Channel has good stuff, but repeats it's programming way to much.

I'm thinking about ditching the cable and telly (one channel on occasion isn't worth it). I can watch NCIS online through the CBS website the next day. I'm finding myself reading a lot more and listening to recordings of Old Time Radio shows and newscasts. Great entertainment and you aren't hypnotized like you get in front of the telly, as your imagination comes in to play (radio used to be called The Theatre of the Mind). Plus, it's much, much cleaner!

Tuesday morning "The Bachelor" review.

Courtrney would make a fun girlfriend but Ben doesn't have quite enough testosterone to reign her in.. Not a wife candidate.

They are teasing that he sends her home next week.

Blakeley is all make-up plus lots of T and A. She may actually be too over the top for any man to ask her out even though she is a 10. I beleive may be unapproachable by mortal men and thus not asked out too often.

Rachel, the Blonde he did keep around is also extremely beautiful but has an introspective personality. She may be the dark horse candidate to win.

The one he sent home at the end of the show ( cant remember her name), the one that straddled him in  a desperate last move, was a mercy killing.
