Walking Dead ( Spoilers if you haven't seen it yet)

No major charactor died, so that's good

No major charactor has been eaten just yet, but there are still strong hints the "Termites" are cannibals.

Was it Beth Yelling for help as the group was running through Terminus?

Claimed Gang got theirs. At last something cathartic.

The comics have Carl threatened with rape by the claimed gang.. I didn't think they would go there. Yet they did.. Cable is awesome.

Sloppy urban insurgency tactics by our group. They should have left at least one person back in the woods to watch and wait .

Tyrees and Carol still at large. I don't think anyone else is still missing except Beth.

Train car is reminiscent of Nazi Death Camp.

It is waaay too long to wait until October for the next season...

Andy Lincoln was good on Talking Dead. Apparently he was prevented from dropping the F bomb in his final line of the season and had to say "Screwed" instead.

Note: You can't use the F bomb but you can see a little boy getting raped and someone getting their jugular  bitten out, not even to mention various be headings and shootings..  Go figure

I think the finale pretty much alluded to Marc's conclusion being correct.

Oh, and spoiler alert, Rick's **** Getting Real moment was extra real.  He didn't so much kill wanna-be rapist punk, but rather disassembled him.  Hard pipe-hittin's in deed.

When they were setting up the throat bite gag the prop guys asked him "Beef or Chicken"?  He asked for chicken.
They then asked him, cooked or raw? He said which ever is most like real flesh, so they went with a mouthful of raw chicken..He now regrets the choice.

Supernatural.

I'm still hoping and hoping that, in the million to one chance, Eric Kripke will one day make a prequel series to Supernatural. It would take place in the Wild West and would revolve around a gruff, whiskey-downing cowboy hunter who's an ancestor to Daniel Elkins. The series would show the origins of the mythical Colt handgun--which will have been made for this hunter--as well as the Devil's Gate railroad thing, and perhaps the hunting of the vampires to near-extinction (at least Luther's family).

I rewatched the midseason finale of TWD from last year. Rick vs. the Gov. Not nearly as good as it originally was for me. I guess the shock factor was more important than I realised at the time. Seeing the little girl die again still sucked though.

I watched the first part of the Revenge of the Nerds TV show pilot from 1991. By all that is holy and good, how did this ever get made? I thought nothing nerd-related could be worse than the movie sequels (especially 3 and 4), but somehow this pilot managed to be far worse.

I've seen bits and pieces in passing since it comes on after Mad Men, but I haven't paid enough attention to it to decide if it's worth watching. So I'm no help. But keep me posted if you decide to watch it.

It is absolutely fantastic. The story telling is just enthralling.  It actually has not had nearly the extent of gore and nudity that I thought it might have, so I'm rather pleased about that.  Of course, I am only 6 episodes in to the first season.  I hope it stays that way.

I really wish that I had watched GoT from the beginning.  I have been watching it here and there. I have seen the last three, the first two, and a good bit of the first season.  So there really aren't going to be any spoilers for me when I go back eventually and watch it form the beginning.  I already know that [redacted] gets a head removal and [redacted] also dies, and that [redacted] is still chilling out [redacted].

Er, not exactly. There's much more of both to come. The gore is mostly following the books, the nudity is rather gratuitous, to the point where I tune it out. It's all in the dialogue for me. Charles Dance and Diana Rigg exchanging bee-yotch lines? Yes please. laugh

I need to find some new shows to watch. Vikings is over for the year with Hannibal. I made a YouTube video about my problems with some historically wrong stuff on Vikings dealing with Christians. The monk who went off with the Vikings and sort of lost his Christian faith came back to England and then they crucify him as an apostate. It implies that this is common to crucify apostates. I pointed out that this did not happen as crucifying anyone in Christian Europe would have been almost blasphemous. They burned heretics but there was a chance to repent usually and so forth. I got a response back from Vikings official YouTube channel. They said it was a TV work and that they were not always historically accurate but tried to be while allowing some liberty for the story. They pointed me to a inside video on the show that deals with just that matter but I could not find it. May look again.

Vikings is over for the year...

So I'm annoyed because I missed just about the entire season of both Vikings and The Americans due to random schedule conflicts and Lent, and only the last four or five episodes are available on demand with Verizon FiOS.  That'll teach me to try and become holy.

Vikings is over for the year...

So I'm annoyed because I missed just about the entire season of both Vikings and The Americans due to random schedule conflicts and Lent, and only the last four or five episodes are available on demand with Verizon FiOS.  That'll teach me to try and become holy.
And that is why God hath blessed us with couchtuner.eu

Sometimes they show the other episodes all in a row. Do you have DVR? Keep checking TV Guide. Nothing like that yet but maybe soon.

Aristotle says in the Metaphysics that "in mathematics goodness does not exist." It is a rather great quote to show to any math teacher when they tell you how important math is. Give them a riddle: I am not tall, I am not short, nor big nor take up any space but simply am. I have no name but I am.

I am STILL watching The Wonder Years on Netflix. Why? Well because of this stupid satellite TV we got. We're getting rid of it soon we keep saying. AT&T will give us $300 to go back to them plus another deal or two maybe. That will pay most or all of the termination fee now for Dish. But yeah still watching The Wonder Years and on Season 5 I think---next to last season. Yeah, once the data gets low I have to either go somewhere or just wait until next month. Been watching this for a few months. I think I'll start on Wings next. I suppose I'm in an old sitcoms mood. Never saw Wings but I like Tony Shaloub and am a pilot--sort of. Have about 60 hours to my PPL but it's on stop of course.

The Wonder Years is good stuff.
