My kitty Crystal. She's a mess ... like a little tiger one second, and purring and licking my arm the next. But I love her. She's been with me through some tough times.

She always gets inside things. I was moving, and packing these plastic drawers with kitchen stuff. The bottom drawer was missing, so she climbed inside.

Crystal is my little Blue Eyes. She learned about sitting at the dining room table for meals when she was a kitten, so every time I would eat, she jumped up and sat quietly with me. She doesn't beg for food (except tuna or yogurt!) but she knows we sit at the table for meals, and she always joined me.

Mornings are her favorite time. She always gets on the bed while I'm making it, and plays while I'm trying to smooth everything out. Then when I finally get it made, I toss a toy so it "escapes" over the pillow so she can dive over and chase it. My bedroom now doesn't get morning sun, and I have a quilt with ribbonwork on it now so I don't let her stretch with her claws on it anymore, but she still likes to "help me" make the bed.
I didn't even want her - I was going to get a kitten for my daughter and was trying to pick a gray tabby from a large cage of feral rescue kittens, but she climbed the side, launched herself at me and landed on my shoulder, and refused to let me put her down. So ... we ended up adopting TWO kittens. Crystal became very precious to me.

She has asthma (her eyes are dirty in some of these pics because I have to clean them a couple of times a day), and I've almost lost her more than once, but I'm so thankful to have her.
