Entering Seminary
« on: August 22, 2011, 08:37:58 AM »
Please remember my youngest son, Matthew, in your prayers. He is entering seminary this week. He has wrestled with this decision for several years and he has some 'large' shoes to fill, following his grandfather and uncle's footsteps. O Mary, Birthgiver of God and Theotokas, intercede on Matthew's behalf, guide him and protect him with your Holy Mantle.

May the Lord have mercy and guide Matthew on his journey!

Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

You are right. I apologize for having sacked Constantinople. I really need to stop doing that.

Amen! Lord have mercy!
To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.

^ Thank you for asking. He really seems happy. He has said more to us the past three weeks through calls and texts than he did while living here after college!
