P.O.'d a lot
« on: August 21, 2011, 01:27:05 AM »
My anger is coming back at an all time high. I'm also still very depressed (that sure never goes away).

Please pray that God can lighten my burden before I lighten it for myself...

Though, I fear hell too much to do that...
"Let the mouth also fast from disgraceful speeches and railings. For what does it profit if we abstain from fish and fowl and yet bite and devour our brothers and sisters? The evil speaker eats the flesh of his brother and bites the body of his neighbor. "
— St. John Chrysostom

Lord have mercy, Tristan.
Quote from: Fr. Thomas Hopko, dystopian parable of the prodigal son can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.

May God help and guide you!

You know, there is absolutely no shame at all about seeking mental help, I've done it in the past.  When I get really angry, I find that most times it helps to just talk the situation out with someone else.

I agree.

Lord have mercy.
Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. Amen.

Please seek professional help. There's no shame in it whatsoever.

Lord have mercy!

I have started reading "Our Thoughts Determine Our Lives: The Life & Teachings Of Elder Thaddeus" and thought that the book could interest you.

Discussed briefly here:,36696.0.html

Counseling is very helpful and recommended, but ultimately we must take control of our thoughts.

Lord have Mercy!
Grant me to see my own errors and not to judge my brother

Lord have mercy!
quickly find a spiritual father/mother, where you will not be judged confession fasting and communing frequently along with seeking professional help as the others have said.May the Lord lighten your burden, May the Mother of Light  come to your aide and cast away the darkness from you. Amen!
To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.
