About 2 1/2 years ago my mom had surgery to remove a very malignant brain tumor. The surgery went well, she started radiation, chemo, etc... Her doctors said that the average life expectancy of someone in her condition is about one year. Through the prayers of St. Nectarios she has been living for 2.5 years now. Two days ago I learned that the tumor has reappeared and she must have another surgery this coming Wednesday to remove what's come back. She's still young, just in her mid forties (she had me young), which makes this whole situation the more painful. Also, as far as close family goes, she's pretty much all I have. Please, please pray that this goes well... I am in Moscow and do not believe I'll be able to return to the US to be with her for this. It's driving me crazy... So please, keep her in your prayers. Her name is Tina.
Thank you...
In Christ, Peter

She'll have a candle lit at St. Barbara's in Ft. Worth and her name will be on the list read over the elements.
Prayers, man...for her and for you. :'(

Dear All,
Thank you so much for your support. It's more apperciated than you know. I briefly spoke with my step-father yesterday on a very broken connection, but was able to hear that the surgery went well and things are looking good for the time being, thank God!
Thanks so much for the prayers...
Peter

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
