Too bad. I would love to buy it. I have visited the monasteries in Bucovina/Bukovyna.

It is supposed to be available again soon. There are putting together an extended version of the documentary. I have a copy of the original that a friend of mine hasn't returned yet. It is one of the most remarkable videos I've ever seen. The pilgrim's discussion with a monk near the end is life changing. It left an impression on me I will never forget.

Ummm. It says there are copies to be sold. Less than $10. They are from a service which legally makes copies on demand via DVD-R. So you can have as many as you like, just a little more lag if you order bulk.

I have some amazon credit left from my employer. I don't like to use it. But I am interested in anything someone says is life changing for less than $10 (well I did be really burned on that line once or twice //:=)). If I don't like it I can always give it to the parish.

Unfortunately, the DVD is no longer available to purchase. Ummm. It says there are copies to be sold. Less than $10. Very new development, as I've had this thing in my wish list (with the no longer available message) for months. Glad to hear it's available again, I've heard good things.

EDIT: Just ordered the DVD via amazon. Thanks for the very sudden update on the film, orthonorm.

It will be sold out from time to time. It is not a hot seller for a copy on demand company to make many copies of. Once it sells out, check back in a few days or a week or shoot an email to the company creating the copies and maybe get it direct.

One of my favorite quotes from the film said by Mironel de Wilde: "What is it to know God if God knows everything, [if God] is everywhere and unlimited? I have a glimpse of what it would mean to believe in Him, to have faith, because if He is, then everything is perfect. There is nothing to fear and nothing to desire. There is only an overwhelming joy of the gift of this heart and soul. God knows my needs before they arise within me, and God knows my prayers before they are formed. He is my prayers in their formation, in everything I am and in everything I am not."
