At least 18 bomb blasts went off across Iraq Monday morning, killing at least 70 people — most of them in the southern city of Kut — in a wave of violence that shattered what had been a relatively peaceful holy month of Ramadan. In this violence Mor Ephrem Syriac Orthodox Church in Kirkuk also destroyed

what's amazing about this photo is that nothing in the altar looks damaged, while outside the altar it looks like a war-zone.  I wonder if a miracle happened in the midst of all this destruction.   angel
