Prayer Request: Overcomming Temptations
« on: August 11, 2011, 12:51:02 AM »
Would you please pray for me. I'm losing my virtue. I'm struggling to maintain any sense of temperance or fortitude.

Thank you,
Lawrence

Pray the Hail Mary faithfully every day.

Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
For thou has born the Savior of our souls.

Most Holy Theotokos, save us.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son and Word of the Living God, through the prayers of your Most Pure Mother and of all the angels and saints, have mercy on your servant Lawrence, granting him health and salvation.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

Lord have mercy!
