I've noticed that my ankles swell more on hot, muggy days....and maybe it's me....but, if I have a lot of carbs the day before, I will most definitely get swollen ankles.
It might not be the carbs, but, the sodium in the food. Who knows. However, I've noticed that what you eat, makes a huge difference.
When I was on a low carb diet, nothing ever swelled, no matter how hot it got.
