Holy Transfiguration Church, in Ontario, Canada, is now consecrated, after a joyous ceremony on Sunday. The Antiochian Orthodox Church opened this new facility in a building that was once home to a Protestant congregation.

The bishop, accompanied by Holy Transfiguration priest Martin Meitz and former priest Polycarp Gilbert, circled the building three times before stopping at the front door to say “Lift up your gates” several times before he and the congregation entered and the sanctuary was blessed.
