I used to think GiC's screen name was GliC.
Originally it was 'Greek is Christian" My original username was "Crucifer", the acolyte who carries the processional cross. how tempus fuget

People occasionally spell my screen name Congomen. What an odd screen name that would be.
I totally know that you are Cognomen, but I wholeheartedly support calling you Congomen. It just strikes me as funny.

Nobody has shown any problem with "Fabio Leite", but my classic net nickname is "Nightrain", which most people think is "Nigh Train" in reference to the Guns 'n' Roses' song, but it was actually meant to be "Night Rain" because, well, I like it when it rains at night (and I'm at home of course... ). Also it's the family name of one my Changeling: The Dreaming characters, Duke Keldrian Nightrain of the Bonny-Sea.

Nobody has shown any problem with "Fabio Leite",
"Milk is fabulous". What's wrong with that ? (No, I didn't look it up; I spent enough years in Paraguay to read the Nido cans that were imported from Brazil.)

I decided to look through the member list and pick out other usernames I've had issues with remembering/misspelling/pronouncing (I'm only including people who have posted 200+ times, otherwise I'd end up with a five hundred names):
Nigula Qian Zishi (can only remember Nigula)
Heorhij (what's wrong with George?)
podkarpatska (For the longest time I would always think "podcast..." when I saw the name)
Bogoliubtsy (not really hard, but I usually settled for Bogo)
yBeayf (what?)

Well, I suppose some old fans of the NFL will remember a superstar cornerback known as Dick "Night Train" Lane. His no-holds-barred tackling style is the reason why the NFL now has such strict rules against facemask and clothesline tackles.

You people know what my screen name actually means, right? Of course, but do you know what it means? Well, I typed in "Cool Arabic Phrases" into Google and picked the first result. (For those not in the know, like the lad above, it means "My name is Liora" in Arabic. It's a strange screen name, when translated, but I adopted it as my AIM SN years ago, right after attending my first Arabic class.)

I think it is a lovely name and you have yet to explain what it means. Would be a wonderful name for a daughter. And there is a bit of a cross lingual pun in your screen name as well. I thought you might have done that on purpose. Alas . . .

Well, Liora means "my gift of light" (very loosely translated from Hebrew).
Of course my real name is very specific and has no such meaning behind it.
And no, I am just realizing what you meant about the pun (at least I think so). Har, no, I wish I was that clever.
