The repose of Mother Thekla
« on: August 07, 2011, 02:51:30 PM »
Some of you (many of you, I hope) will have read the works of Mother Maria (Gysi) of Normanby. Today the last of the three sisters, Mother Thekla, is, in the words of her spiritual son, "being greeted by angels". Please pray for her peaceful transition to eternal life and for the consolation of those who love her and will miss her greatly.

In Christ,

Why do posters that claim to have me blocked keep sending me pms and responding to my posts? That makes no sense.

Memory eternal.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

He said he had a horrible house
I looked in it and learnt to shut my mouth

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

Memory Eternal.
Quote from: Fr. Thomas Hopko, dystopian parable of the prodigal son can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.
