The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite John Abdalah, of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, on Saturday was elected auxiliary bishop of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Worcester and New England. The consecration may be delayed for a brief time, due to uncertainty over the location.

From the article:
Quote
But the timetable is not definite on when the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite John Abdalah of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland and two others elected auxiliary bishop will be elevated because of the unrest in the Middle East.

"It hasn't been determined if the consecrations will take place in this archdiocese or the Middle East," Father Abdalah, 57, said Monday. "It will happen soon. I would imagine within the next three months."

Many years!  angel

Is there a specific service for consecrating auxiliary bishops?
Do we need to add an * to the "Axios!" proclamations?

Consecration and enthronements are two different things. I believe all bishops are consecrated in the same way.
