I like the foolish virgin option.

It would require a great deal more introspection than I think most would want, though, to choose it.

No - but don't tell my children, they would be appalled.  Wink   laugh laugh laugh

On a serious note:

I'm one of those who lost their virginity at the hands of a pedophile when I was six.  So, though this is a very innocent question - to some it can be a very painful reminder of something they were never able to actually confess.

Please be careful with this. One in three women in the US has been raped.  Most of these are childhood attacks by people they know.

But on second thought - this shouldn't be something that someone can't joke about - it's very shamefull that this is such a horrible statistic in the US.  I remember reading a post here where someone from another country said that the women of the US were sleazy - easy (they used another word choice) and because of this, diseased.  This hurt to read, as most of us didn't have a choice in the matter from a very young age.

Ok. . .of soap box.

Please forgive me.    Embarrassed

Big e-hugs @ quietmorning!

Does the 'yes and no' option include born-again virgins, or just the reconstructed kind?

Based on what virginity means within a Christian context, as painful as what you went through has been, I can assure you from what I have read on this board by you and the few PMs we have exchanged, one thing you didn't lose that day was your virginity.

Even childbirth didn't remove that quality from you.

If only everyone brought your calm and care to the world. Quiet mourning indeed.

everyone please note!
in the eyes of God and His church, virginity is only lost when a person has sexual relations willingly, not unwillingly.

everyone please note!
in the eyes of God and His church, virginity is only lost when a person has sexual relations willingly, not unwillingly.
It is also lost when one worships false gods, lusts in one's heart, withholds alms, condemns others, etc. So if it is a permanent loss, we're all out of luck.

Good thing it isn't!

I chose "I can't get rid of virginity."
