What would I do, if aI move to a new location, and I'm interested in serving in the altar there?

You do exactly what you would do if you were to commune in another church--bring a letter from your priest that says you're in good standing with the church which also explains your service behind the altar.  The priest at the new church probably wouldn't even blink, but every priest is different.
