Disclaimer: Phil and I attended Nik's ordination in ROAC because he asked us to go as his friends.  We also were somewhat curious as to what this ROAC thing was like in real life.  He knew we didn't agree with him on ROAC, so I hope no one misconstrues our attendence at the event as a tacit approval of ROAC Smiley

IMO,

I don't see why you & Phil need approval from anyone to attend Nick's ordination nor is a explaination warranted.
