I'm thinking about giving the original BioShock and Infinite a replay. Other than that, I'm currently replaying the Red Dead Redemption in anticipation for the sequel.
All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too
Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl

Aerobiz Supersonic (SNES emulator)

Routinely return to this for a bit of inspiration. I've been working at learning UE4/C++, doing some art, writing, etc. for developing a couple games for a few years now, and an airline strategy game is one of them; something less business micro-management and more 4x though. Still nowhere near ready to show, let alone put on something like itch.io.

Detroit, Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream loses employment court case

Controversial games studio Quantic Dream, developer of PlayStation exclusives Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, has lost a court case against a former employee. The victim in the case quit their post due to the offensive photoshopped images of employees being circulated at the studio - images which came to light after a damning joint investigation into toxic workplace culture undertaken by a team of journalists at Le Monde, Canard PC and Mediapart published back in January.

These reports variously accused Quantic Dream leaders David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière of inappropriate behaviour, overworking staff and colluding in - or at least turning a blind eye to - a schoolboy culture involving sexist and racist jokes. Canard PC's report [NSFW] includes examples of this - in montages of staff member's faces Photoshopped onto those of Nazi soldiers and nude porn stars which were apparently posted up around the studio workplace...

Hot take. I am so over marketing materials, GDC talks, interviews, reviews, etc. which talk about how "your decisions matter" or "your choices change the world" without giving examples or saying how/why.  Um, yeah, decisions which affect the game, that's calling playing a game. When you move in Pong? That's a decision that matters--if you don't do it right, you lose. When you get a star in Mario Brothers 3? That's a decision that changes the world--you're now invincible for a short time. People aren't asking for more basic 'decisions with consequences.' IMO something doesn't even qualify as a game if it doesn't have that bare minimum. What people want are narrative and gameplay choices that actually have meat to them, make you think and feel, and have a lasting impact on the world beyond 'Will you get 5 dwarves or 5 equally-competent elves to fight for you in the final battle (neither of which will make any difference).'

Lol is that a reaction from the newest Red Dead trailer?

Well, it was brought to mind while I was watching it, but I thought the trailer did an ok job with that in particular (though hopefully in the game it's better than the many/shallow approach of GTAV). I tend to get far more annoyed at Bethesda and Bioware with this kind of thing.

I'm still playing Kingdom Come.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

And you'll sleep, but they'll find you

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river

Bought a 3DS for cheap a few days ago and immediately downloaded Super Ghouls n Ghosts lol. I only plan to use it as a retro portable gaming system.

If it only had Yoshi's Island, it would be far superior to the SNES classic...
